New Fickle Friends – play Cambridge this month

As they currently tour North America, Fickle Friends have shared a brand-new track from their upcoming EP. This new offering is called ‘The Moment’ and it’s available to stream HERE.

Fickle Friends – the UK’s hardest working pop band – returned quite quickly this summer after the release of their top 10 debut album (released in March). After heading straight back into the studio, they announced a fresh EP in September, to be released on their own record label ‘Palmeira Music’ and teased it with title track ‘Broken Sleep’. Now they offer up ‘The Moment’ – one of their most compelling tracks to date, which celebrates the notion of living in the present rather than worrying too much about things down the line.

It’s a theme that’s carries throughout the new EP where you find Fickle Friends are doing exactly what they do best – fully danceable, glossy-indie-pop that picks up perfectly where the album left off. According to lead singer Natti Shiner “came about as a result of a newfound headspace after the release of our debut full length release earlier in the year”.

Fickle Friends are currently midway through a run of headline shows across North America, bringing the brand-new EP with all the live favourites from the album to all the major cities including New York and Los Angeles. Soon they’ll return to UK shores for their biggest tour to date, which includes a show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire which should prove to be one of the biggest moments for the band to date.
