Let’s Eat Grandma are gearing up for the release of their new album at the end of the month by sharing another new track, check out ‘Ava’ below.
The track is the fourth released from their second album I’m All Ears, out June 29th 2018 via Transgressive Records. Centred around Jenny’s haunting, one-take vocal and Walton’s plaintive piano, ‘Ava’ addressed matters of mental health, struggle, moments of clarity. “The realisation as you get older that some things are more complicated, and from the outside looking at a person you can’t always see how difficult some problems are to solve”, Jenny says.
I’m All Ears is an even greater revelation than Walton and Hollingworth’s globally acclaimed debut, I, Gemini. The second act from the British teenage vocalists, multi-instrumentalists and songwriters, is the most startling, infectious, innovative and thrilling record you’ll hear this year. It is alive with furious pop, unapologetic grandeur, intimate ballads; with loops, Logic, outrageous 80s drum solos, as well as production from David Wrench (The xx/Frank Ocean/Caribou), SOPHIE and Faris Badwan.
