Kerry Devine shares first look at debut album

Cambridgeshire musician Kerry Devine has shared the video for ‘Work You’. The track is the first to be lifted from her debut album, ‘Away From Mountains’ which is out later this year.

Talking about the track itself, Devine told DIY: “Lyrically, ’Work You’ is about the futility of observed addiction and inspired by the landscape of the fens. It was produced using sounds taken from along the rivers near the Gualt.”

The video fro ‘Work You’ was shot shot at Woodwalton Fen and is inspired by the 17th-figure Matthew Hopkins who was responsible for more executions of women for witchery in East Anglia than anywhere else in the UK during the English Civil War.
