Lucy Rose shares new track ahead of UK tour, plays Cambridge

On the eve of her UK tour Lucy Rose has shared a new track, ‘End Up Here’. The song is a bonus track recorded during Lucy’s ‘Something’s Changing’ LP sessions. Lucy Rose plays Cambridge’s J2 venue on November 23rd, tickets here.

It’s been a fulfilling and ultimately successful twelve months for Lucy, built around the release of her acclaimed third album, Something’s Changing through Communion Records. The record launched in the Spring alongside a mini-documentary detailing the making of the album, capturing all of Lucy’s travelling to new places and meeting with new friends. The film has acted as the support act for her recent Worldwide Cinema Tour.

Having just returned from a first US tour in support of Paul Weller, Lucy’s travels this year have already taken her across Latin America (the inspiration for much of the record), South East Asia, and Europe. A hefty UK tour kicks off next week, ahead of Australian dates in February and a second run of the US over the early Spring (including a first appearance at SXSW in March). It was this sense of travel and communication that helped inform Something’s Changing, and it’s travel that continues to inspire this fascinatingly accomplished young artist.
