Menace Beach announce new album – play Cambridge

new music Band's sophomore album due out in January

Menace Beach, the Leeds band comprising Liza Violet and Ryan Needham, have announced details of their new album Lemon Memory. It’s set for release on 20th January 2017 via Memphis Industries, and lead single “Maybe We’ll Drown” has also been unveiled.

Written in Ibiza and recorded in Sheffield with Ross Orton (MIA, Arctic Monkeys, The Fall), Lemon Memory is in part an effort to lift a citrus-based curse – trust us, it’s a real thing – Ryan and Liza believe was placed on their house, via the hexbreaking power of music. It’s also the sound of a band finding their own identity, edging closer to some sort of grimy truth.

Menace Beach will bring their new record to Cambridge in February 2017, when they play The Portland Arms, full dates below.
