This week’s choice pic was taken by occasional Slate photographer Ida Huntic while off on her European adventures. Chosen for a) its naturally compelling composition, and b) because pug.
Just look at him. Effortless cool.
The shot was taken in a tattoo parlour in Berlin, the pictured pug just happened to be hanging out there. As one likes to imagine all pugs do in Berlin. Both street and travel photography are much more opportunistic than some of the more staged shots we’ve featured recently, but such is their nature – it’s about having an eye for a moment that perfectly encapsulates a place or a person.
