The rather cool folks at Topman CTRL have put together a rather special live session with Clock Opera.

The ‘It Situ’ Sessions are the new strand from Topman Ctrl, where the best new acts perform in unique locations, ensuring that the bands still sound as good as they look. From underground crypts to seaside lock-ups, it’s sublime live music recorded in places you would never expect.

Topman’s Resident Controller Huw Stephens had this to say about Clock Opera: “There’s something weird going on in Clock Opera’s studio. Good weird, mind, not annoying weird. They have the biggest melodies, a sense of adventure that most other guitar bands who think they’re doing something interesting could really do with, and the sound of a band born to be together.”

Clock Opera have a certain charm and unerring quality to their oft fragile music and ‘Belongings’ best emphasizes this and one of the reasons why debut album ‘Ways To Forget’ so majestic.
